The purpose of the training visit of the delegation to Estonia was to study the development of Estonian e-governance and e-services on different levels of government, as well as various issues concerning service centres providing public services.
During the training visit, the guests were introduced at the Ministry of Finance to the development of the so-called “state houses” project. At the Government Office they got an overview of developments of e-governance and at the Tax and Customs Board about issues related to the development of e-services. The guests also met with the leaders and specialist from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, e-Governance Academy, Tallinn City Government and District Government of Nõmme. A memorable experience was the visit to the renewed e-Estonia showroom and the meeting held there with representatives of the Estonian ICT cluster.
