This 14 and 15 March 2018, local government representatives from all over Estonia got together to participate in the 14th City and Rural Municipality Days 2018.
Once again, the Tallinn information stand presented all the newest information from the City Office (Chancellery), City Transport Department, the City owned Transport company TLT (Tallinna Linnatranspordi AS), the Urban Planning Department, Environment Department, Energy Agency, the Communal Office, the City Property Department, the Culture Department, Tallinn Cultural Hub, Social Welfare and Health Care Department and City Enterprise Department, where one could see or hear about the newest services and developments in those areas for which these offices are responsible for.
This year Tallinn Information Stand ongoing moto was “Inclusive Tallinn”. Representatives from the support centre for disabled people “Juks” and from mental health centre also participated in Tallinn’s information stand, promoted their activities and sold a variety of hand-made items crafted by disabled people themselves.
Organisers from the 14th City and Rural Municipality Days events said the two-day event attracted 1405 participants, the overwhelming majority of which visited the Tallinn information stand heard presentations and contributed to the home city owned information material. For the 7th year running, Tallinn Development and Training Centre organised the Tallinn City’s own presentation at the City and Rural Municipality Days.
