Tallinn Development and Training Centre organized a training and study visit to Tallinn and Estonia (from 18.12.- 21.12. 2017) for the Ministry of the Territorial Administration and Development of Republic of Armenia´s delegation

In cooperation with the Estonian Center of Eastern Partnership, Tallinn Development and Training Centre organized a training and study visit to Tallinn and  Estonia (from 18.12.- 21.12. 2017) for the Ministry of the Territorial Administration and Development of Republic of Armenia´s delegation. The Armenian delegation was headed by First Deputy Minister Mr. Vache Terteryan and as members of the delegation there were the Head of the Municipal Services and Administrative Control Department, Mr. Ara Rostomyan, Head of Financial-Economic and Local Government Budgeting Department, Mr. Armen Manukyan and the Mayor of Dilijan, Mr. Armen Santrosyan.

During the visit, there were meetings with the Estonian Minister of Public Administration, Mr. Jaak Aab and the Head of Regional Administration, Mr. Väino Tõemets, the Mayor of Tallinn, Mr. Taavi Aas, the City Secretary, Mr. Toomas Sepp, the Head of Personnel Development Department of the City Office, Mrs. Ülle Lõhmus. 

During the visit to Haapsalu, there were meetings with the mayor of Haapsalu, Mr. Urmas Sukles and with other city leaders. Also Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Cities of Haapsalu and Dilijan. The guests visited the museums of Haapsalu and other city attractions. A meeting was held between the Armenian Delegation and the Estonian Center of Eastern Partnership´s representatives Mr. Jaan Reinhold and Mrs. Tiina Ilsen to discuss possible future cooperation opportunities in 2018 and later on.

Armenia´s high officials were amazed by the visit to e-Estonia showroom and by the presentation of Estonia´s e-development.

The Armenian guests visited the sights of Tallinn city: including the Old Town of Tallinn and the Christmas Market in Town Hall Square which let them be a part of the Christmas spirit of Tallinn.
