The foundation Tallinn Development and Training Centre (TDTC) organized from 31.05. – 03.06.2017 a study visit to Tallinn for twelve students from Erfurt and a five-member ZDF TV channel journalists team, who filmed the study visit. The purpose of the study visit was to introduce best achievements of the City of Tallinn to the students from Erfurt. The main focus was on issues related to the development of free public transportations in Tallinn. Head of Tallinn EU Office Mr Allan Alaküla and board director of Tallinn City Transport Mr Enno Tamm gave lectures to the guests. The guest also visited the tram depot of Tallinn City Transport, where they could get an overview of the latest developments in Tallinn’s tram transportation and look at older trams built in Erfurt. The German guests visited Lahemaa, participated in the events of Tallinn Old Town Days and visited the sights of Tallinn. A TV-show of the study visit to Tallinn will air in the fourth quarter of 2017. After that it will be also uploaded to TDTC homepage.
