The foundation Tallinn Development and Training Centre organized the visit for the delegation of Alma-Ata Akimati to Tallinn from 19.05-21.05.2014. The aim of the visit of the delegation was to examine the involvement of citizens and third sector organizations in decision-making by the City Council of Tallinn and the development of e-services of Tallinn. The delegation of Alma-Ata Akimati met with the City Secretary and the Director of Development of Tallinn, the representatives of the Estonian Nonprofit Organization and Urban Lab and with the leaders of Tallinn Development and Training Centre. The visit resulted in a proposal by the Alma-Ata Information Analysis Center to Tallinn Development and Training Centre to sign a memorandum of cooperation for exchanging and sharing experiences and organizing trainings. The Supervisory Board of Tallinn Development and Training Centre approved the memorandum of cooperation at their meeting held on 03.06.2014.
